BRINGING HOPE & TRANSFORMATION THROUGH PRAYER & ACTION
Prayer for St Helens developed from a desire for St Helens Churches to play their part in contributing to the transformation of our town. We provide prayer materials and ideas for praying creatively for every aspect of St Helens life through video, social media, our website and prayer cards both for individuals and churches.
We pray together as church leaders and share resources and campaigns to help people to pray often and with focus.
We pray for our town, its leaders and its people and run projects with others to encourage all as we seek to transform our town into how God sees it.
Prayer leads to action and we partner with churches, church groups and leaders to act and bring around change. We underpin everything we do with prayer.
In 2018, we ran a year long prayer campaign alongside the 150th anniversary celebrations. Praying together for all spheres of life in St Helens.
During Prayer150 we pulled together the hopes and prayers of a cross section of our town and crafted A Prayer for St Helens and presented it to the town.
Church in the Square is a celebration of church unity in St Helens. In 2018 we saw over 500 people gather in the town centre from over 16 churches. We are supporting this again in 2020!
